The naked earth is warm with Spring,
And with green grass and bursting trees
Leans to the sun's kiss glorying,
And quivers in the sunny breeze.
~Julian Grenfell
I have made a little progress
on my Marsh Grass and a
lot of progress on my second
Leaves of Grass. It's a wonderful
pattern, easy to follow and
I can't wait to block it and
really see how it really looks.
While once again browsing
Ravelry, because I may have
a slight problem, I came
across another pattern,
Holey Square Scarf, and
it's free! I had a dentist
appointment in town
and since I was already
there, I made a quick
stop at my LYS and picked
up a few skeins of yarn
to knit one too. I think
it will make a nice Christmas
gift for someone.
I am still slowly make my
way though Freedom, but
to be honest I am on the
lookout for something that
is a bit more gripping, this
book is really kind of boring.
I want to wish my soul mate,
Mike a happy 50th birthday!
I can't believe we have been
together since we were 16.
I love you sweetie!
Joining Ginny and all the
Yarn Alongers for another
awesome Wednesday.
