A CUCUMBER BAG & A RECIPE

If you've never experienced
the joy of accomplishing more
 than you can imagine, plant
a garden....

~Robert Brault

....and learn to knit.

I completed my  cucumber bag,
and am already using it.  It
was nice to mindlessly knit
something that turned
out to be so useful. I might
have to have one of these
on the needles at all times.

Tried this with all the fresh
cucumbers that have been
harvested. I have plans to
make it again and serve it
with toasted pita chips.

What is your favorite way to
serve cucumbers?

  3. I love the color of the bag, learning to knit is on my list of things I would want to learn.
We aren't getting cucumbers yet, my boys favorite is cucumber bread/muffins. I make it when we have too many and keep them in the freezer for breakfasts.

  8. We love cucumbers here!! We make homemade dill pickles, make Japanese pickled cucumbers, and eat it just plain raw with salt, especially the little cukes :).

I love your cucumber bag!! Do you have a pattern to share?I so understand the beauty of simplicity knitting! I just cranked out a couple dishcloths and it was so soothing!!
