Hopefully I'll be able to grow some this summer and then I can try some of your recipes.Tiny Toadstool Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03741553266633373902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7650649438155050655.post-59003681198900594372015-06-16T12:43:48.251-04:002015-06-16T12:43:48.251-04:00I've never thought of cooking or baking with c...I've never thought of cooking or baking with cantaloupe. It's one of those things that just seems best eaten straight up. Perhaps because the season here for it is so short, it seems right to appreciate it in its natural state, though the dessert soup sounds great.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7650649438155050655.post-35482458303028663722015-06-16T12:43:43.281-04:002015-06-16T12:43:43.281-04:00I LOVE Cantaloupe and can't have them right no...I LOVE Cantaloupe and can't have them right now... We've been having our first strawberries and radish, lots of spinach and salad and so excited because the seeds I planted out of a butternut squash we'd eaten are germinating and there are little green plants. It's so wonderful to watch and then enjoy. debby emadianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12222092755385566586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7650649438155050655.post-46281888345368869122015-06-16T06:19:08.626-04:002015-06-16T06:19:08.626-04:00Yum cantaloupe! The hot days and cool nights make for some seriously good melons (when they aren't killing people with listeria outbreaks). Here in Denver though the growing season is too short. I've given up trying to get melons before they freeze. I'd rather save the garden space for something that will grow!<br />flyingjenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10160022751157014548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7650649438155050655.post-24801410749724476182015-06-15T23:37:54.728-04:002015-06-15T23:37:54.728-04:00I love the quote.
