~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Joining with Ginny.
I completed my Pebble Vest
except for the buttons. It
is one of the most enjoyable
knits I have ever completed.
Usually I have to flip patterns
and make adjustments for
being left handed, but with
this pattern I didn't.
I am already thinking about
casting on another, this time
using a soft cotton or a bamboo.
OK, to be truthful, I will
more than likely do both since
it really is a cute pattern and
I had so much fun knitting it.
On my needles now is a long
term project, Checkers Baby Blanket.
I am using size 10 1/2 needles
I wanted to have some mindless
knitting to keep my hands busy
since we will be starting our
school lessons next week.
I have just begun reading
I love the EZ's style of writing, like
we are sitting at my kitchen
table having a morning chat.
I am only on the first chapter,
but can already say with certainty
that I would recommend this
book to all knitter's, regardless
of skill or experience.
What have you been up to
this week? xx
